You are likely carrying around something heavy that you could put down. Perhaps it’s something you are avoiding. Or maybe you drag it around with you because you think you “should.” How do I know? Because we all do it.
But here’s what happens: the longer you carry it around, the harder it is to look at. And when you don’t look at it directly, it becomes even heavier.
Grudges.
Resentment.
Anger.
Shame.
Regret.
How do we find the courage to look at what is weighing us down? We remember that letting go doesn’t mean we have lost. We are winning back the autonomy over how we want to live our lives. We remember that we have a choice in how we fill our precious day to day moments. Heavy burdens do not make us stronger. There is a considerable amount of strength in putting them down.
I love you.

This is meaningful to me. More than one answer to "what are you carrying around that you might not need to?"
