Words are energy and everything you say about yourself matters. When you speak negatively about yourself, your body (and your children) cannot decipher the difference between your opinions and the truth.
It’s not about toxic positivity. It’s not about pretending you like the things you don’t. It’s about honoring the fact that none of us are perfect, and that’s okay. It’s about being as kind to yourself as you would be to a best friend. Can you show yourself the same loving kindness you would show them? Today is a great day to start.
