In an effort to do at least one small thing for myself each day, I have been asking myself this question: “What do I want to do today?”
Recently, I decided to try out this small adjustment…
”How do I want to feel today?”
When you focus first on how you want to feel, you can get curious about the things you can do in order to feel that way.
So the next time you are trying to figure out what to do — whether for this afternoon or for the next five years — perhaps you might consider asking yourself how you want to feel instead of what you want to do?
Just a thought.

I can ask my partner, "how do you want to feel? instead of "what do you want to do" -- it should attune us to our joint actions. Love it!
