Sometimes the strategies won’t work.
The long walk, the slow breathing, the music, the dancing, the drawing, the writing. Sometimes they don’t work and that’s okay.
In fact, it’s completely normal.
On days like that, I invite you to let go of the strategies.
Let go of trying to fix it. Release the urge to figure out why you are feeling the particular way you are feeling.
Just be.
Accept that it just is.
Just for today, this is how it is.
If you can be around people who put you at ease, great.
If you can be around people who make you laugh, even better.
Learning how to accept what is, without judgment, on days like this will bring you a lot of peace.
