Our bodies need rest from lifting weights or heavy workouts. Our mind needs a rest day too. We need to sleep every night to recharge our brains. And our soul and spirit need recharging as well.

It is also quite marvelous to allow yourself a mental rest.
Let the dust settle on all that knowledge you’ve been ingesting. Remember, you are not a machine. Your mental and emotional training don’t just deserve days off, they require them for better functioning.
