When we spend all of our energy worrying about:
- what others have
- what others are doing
- what others are saying about us
it only ends up making us feel less than worthy.
You probably already know that we cannot control what others are going to do or say. You probably already know that you “shouldn’t let it bother you.”
But are you aware of how to incorporate that knowing into your life on a daily basis? It requires a delicate balance of hard work and gentle self-compassion. And you must slow down to see, acknowledge, and accept it.
Knowing your worth is a life-long practice. Some days it will be as painless as a soft breeze blowing on your face. And some days it will feel like you are walking on perpetual earthquakes.
If you are feeling defeated today, I see you. I know for certain that this moment will pass. For today, offer yourself kindness and remember that tomorrow is a new day and a fresh start.
I love you.
