When I am in a moment of emotion that I don’t like, I have been able to mentally acknowledge it. I say to myself, “I don’t like this! I don’t like this!”
But what I sometimes neglect is letting my body feel it. My brain notices, comments, and then moves on. And I let it.
But it doesn’t make me feel better. And that’s what I want, right? I want to “feel”…
