Are you feeling whole… or full of holes?
When we feel full of holes, we are focused on lack. We pay attention to all that we don’t have. When we are feeling whole, we need nothing more. We are content and at peace. It’s wild how a little “w” can change so much about a state of being.
How do we find our “w”?
I think it’s acceptance, for where we are. Knowing that nothing is stagnant and things will move and change. I think it’s gratitude, for what we have. It’s slowing down enough to notice and appreciate all the goodness that goes unrecognized day to day.
These shifts sound easy, but they take dedicated practice. We don’t find that “w” outside of us. It is within us. It can be elusive and the noise of the world can make it harder to find sometimes, but I’m telling you this:
You already have it.
